Burns Supper!

Join us for a Scottish tradition, Burns Night! This celebration of life and the poetry of Robert Burns is celebrated with delicious food, drink, and music.

The evening will include:

Ode to the Lasses
Ode to the Lads
Poetry Reading (audience participation requested)
and a Fabulous Meal with Whisky Pairing

Here's what's on the menu:

1st Course 
Cock a Leekie Soup - tender chicken and leeks with dumplings
Kale Salad - greens tossed in poppyseed dressing with grapes, toasted hazelnuts and scallions

Whisky Pairing Course 
(Choice of Whisky or Cocktail)
Walnut Oatcakes with Smoked Gouda-Whisky Cheddar Spread 
Pairing: Macallan 12yr
Original Cocktail- High Isle (Macallan 12, Scottish Heather Honey, Lemon, whisper of Laphroaig, dash of bitters)

Honey Smoked Salmon on Potato Wafers over Baby Greens with 
Fennel Whisky Mustard Sauce
Whiskey Pairing: Oban 14yr 
Cocktail: Oban Rob Roy (Oban 14, Sweet Vermouth, Dash Bitters, Cherry Garnish)

Entree Options
Haggis with Neeps &Tatties - (American version) chopped lamb, pork belly and beef mixed with steel cut oats, stout and a special blend of spices. Served with mashed potatoes, roasted turnips and rainbow carrots

Lamb Sausage - savory lamb patties seasoned with fennel, mint and lemon finished with whisky cream sauce. Served with hasselback potatoes, candied turnips and

Scottish Salmon - pan seared to medium with whole grain mustard and panko crumbs with Irish butter. Accompanied by potato pancakes and brussel sprouts

Whisky Cream Trifle- layers of vanilla sponge cake with fresh raspberries and whisky cream sauce

Cranachan Cheesecake- drunken blackberries with lemon & vanilla bean

Irish Whiskey Bread Pudding- custard soaked bread with a hint of cinnamon and raisins, served with a whiskey caramel sauce and whipped cream

Brownie a la Mode- dense fudge brownie topped with vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce and lots of whipped cream
